Robotic Process Automation and Software jobs

RPA or Robotic process automation is a technology that automates repetitive rules-based tasks by mimicking how humans interact with computer systems.

Robotic process automation

RPA was one of the fastest-growing segments in the enterprise software market in 2020 and continues to grow in popularity and adoption it's also evolving rapidly as vendors combine rpa tools with other automation tools ai and machine learning to increase the scope and complexity of tasks rpa can automate.

The robots in rpa are actually software scripts that automate other software they operate at the user interface level mimicking human keystrokes and clicks the bots can for example log into applications enter data and copy data between applications

RPA aims to improve efficiency boost productivity lower costs and free employees to focus on higher value work. It's important to note that rpa is not the same as automation tools such as business process management suites or APIs that typically require an experienced software engineer to write code that connects automated tasks to the underlying it infrastructure. RPA systems on the other hand are typically developed by simply recording a user's actions as they perform the task and then the software system repeats those tasks directly in the user interface.

Rpa software is easy to develop and operate really any business department can use and benefit from it in a variety of use cases including customer service, verifying e-signatures and uploading scanned documents in finance processes like procedure to pay accounts receivable and general accounting and HR payroll onboarding and off-boarding and compliance or in supply chain management for procurement order processing and payments and monitoring inventory by assisting or entirely replacing routine and error-prone tasks
